We bought this model about a month ago and we could not be happier. The night we got it we were watching a high-def program and my wife said, ”I love this TV”! The picture quality is fantastic. From regular TV programing to wide screen movies on DVD, the picture is amazing. The speakers, especially in surround mode, are not great. Pipe your sound through a media center for quality sound. The ports for connecting exterior devices are very good. We have a dvd player, dvd recorder, vcr, computer video and home theater speakers connected. One output that sold me on this model is the analog out sound. I can listen to the TV through a headset while my wife is sleeping in the next room. If you do not require every bell and whistle, but are looking for a quality picture and good funtionality, then this is the television for you.
