Good things first,I have mine for almost a year and this thing is awesome (this is not my first GPS) it work perfectly from the store where is bought it and found my house in newly develop area 1 month old (WA State) compared to my friends GPS. MAP Correction you got to love this option! free update! reliable (did i mention i had this for a year) and I really use it everyday! Ok for the software that came with it It worked perfectly the way it should updates, backup’s, etc. But the newer version of the software wont work on my pc maybe because I have Vista cause it works in my XP perfectly. The GPS Mount Ok kinda tricky to use compare to other GPS mount, This one you have to mount it good really good so it wont fall off, then mount your GPS in it. All in All this is a good GPS perfect for first timers, easy to understand, and the price is right for the product.

It’s a good products, but as a U.S. user, I notice it’s a very British product. Add-ons are priced in pounds and the documentation is Brit-centric. Couldn’t they have at least a tiny U.S. presence, docs, website…anything? I love Brits to pieces, but I feel like my product is a foreigner and I’m on my own. I tried installing the control software on my laptop computer, and it ended up making my One XL into a blank-screened paperweight. Lucky for me it gave me the option of making a full backup first, so I got it working again…and now I feel like it’s delicate and I can’t update it. I guess in this day of the world economy and Chinese manufacturing we’ve all had our expectations lowered about what a ‘quality’ product is. Back when I was a boy [wheeeeeze] this woulda been labeled as trash and rejected, but today…well, I guess it does the job it advertises… I won’t buy one again.

I’ve been using the ONE XL for a few months now and I think its a great device. It’s very easy to use and I’ve always found it to be very accurate. It’s has outstanding maps and always gets me where I need to go. The voice commands are spot on and really help when navigating in the city (so your not always looking at the maps). If you miss a turn the XL quickly re-calculates the route and your back on track in no time. I would definitely suggest this device to a friend.

I required repair and the unit was returned with the same problem twice. It still isn’t working. Software is good but unit is very delicate. Will replace the unit but not with a a TomTom product. An expensive lesson

I initially had a tomtom one, but with the wider screen, this worked better for me. Same ease of use as all of the other TomTom products I’ve used, and it’s navigation is top notch.
