A pretty nice monitor. The price is a little high for its size, but there is a noticeable improvement in color/performance with when compared to my older LCD. I would be nice if the stand could adjust height so I wouldn’t have to set it on my Linear Algebra book in order to match heights w/other monitor. But I guess if you really want that you have a shell out a few more bucks. A great monitor for at a pretty good price.
REVIEW BY: THE G33K Reviewed Mar 21, 2008
I know most of you may be a little aprehensive about spending 300 dollars on a new 22” monitor when you can spend 200 and get a 19” or 20” but believe me when I tell you that it IS worth it to spend the extra little bit of money and get this monitor. Samsung has exceeded my expectations for monitor quality. I have an Acer, which takes forever to bring up the image, and a Ben-Q, which has ghosting problems where if you keep the same image on the screen too long it will burn in the image. The base of the monitor swivels so that you can turn it 360+ degrees for whatever purpose that may provide. The base of the monitor is very secure so that you wont have to worry about it tipping over. The DVI an VGA cords are a on the short side though. The monitor also tilts backwards quite a bit, but it does not tile that far forward so you will have to position the monitor at eye level. Other than that, I have absolutely no complaints what-so-ever. Best of all, it comes with a 3 year parts and lab
