Value (price) and features (stuff it does) and quality (how well constructed) are good for the price. However, like a previous poster, I had a problem with my set and had to return it. My issue occured about three weeks after I had the set. All of a sudden, a large, black box would pop up on one specific channel and would not go away unless I changed the channel. Tiger Direct was easy to work with on the return, which is the good news (no third degree, just a clean call with a quick RMA and mail label processed). I’ve bought a lot of refurb electronics before and this item is my first problem. Not sure if I’m going to get another Polaroid or look elsewhere.

The first one I recieved was a defect. DvD player constantly on, searching, ejecting, clicking, no matter what inpute mode the TV was under. I was talked into a replacement. The replacement arrived really quick, but that is how TD operated…. keep up the good job. Unfortunately, the replacement is also a defect. This time the Dvd player is selective on what DVD movie it reads and plays… go figure. Also, took long time to read… Looks like this product have DVD player issue. To add, the USB connection is also not reading. So, I went from bad DVD player for the 1st one to bad DVD player and USB for the replacement. First Time buying a refurbished product, and will be last time. Looks like they do not repair but just clean it and try to resale to next sucker. sorry, not recommanded.

Very satisified with this TV. Quick shipping. After 2 wks on the wall, this TV is working out great. The built in DVD is the best and very easy to use. No more wires and connections all over the place. The TV quality is a huge improvement over the SD set it replaced. The remote is very user friendly. Only wished that the TV would auto-select the input when I slide in a DVD…I have to take the 5 seconds to select DVD input via the remote. At the price I got from Tiger, this was a steal!

So far, the first one I recieved was a defective; the DVD Player constantly on and constantly searching for a dvd movie and then when it does not find one, it constantly ejecting… and you can’t even load a dvd in once you turn it on. This happened even if you are on other input mode. I’ve never tried refurbished product before and so far I feel like I’ve made a mistake on this refurbished products. I was talked into a replacement, and I thought for this price why not keep an open mind and give it a try… So hopefully the replacement can prove me wrong with refurbished product…..:)
