This little device just arrived today. I have a SONY VAIO desktop which is 2 years old and had recently installed Vista premium on it. I installed the software, plugged it in and it worked perfectly. The only problem I had was with the EPG guide coming up with the wrong mappings. Once I mapped them properly, there were no problems. I am not using any other reception device except the included antenna and I get all of my local channels very clearly. This is a great piece of kit to have here in my office. Can’t wait to install it on my new Dell XPS laptop. I bought this for 2 reasons: I could use it on both computers and for the antenna. I am not disappointed in the least.

What a surprise this little item was, I wanted something for my laptop without the hassle using the MCE. this small thing fit the bill. I have it on my dish and it has it’s own software program which works good. So I can have the best of both worlds cause DirecTV broadcast in HD on about 70 channels. THANKS T.D.

wow, this is terrible. I loaded it on my computer and immediately had problems. I followed the procedures for the vista installation, I have a very fast computer, and still the picture freezes!

Do not waste your time or especially your money on this item. It is junk! they say that the minimum requirements is a P4 2.4Ghz, but when the program opens it warns you that the computer processor is not fast enough, even though it is a 3Ghz machine. The NTSC portion works good, but when you tune into a true HD station, get ready for freeze up’s with the picture, and the sound almost always is not in sync with the video. Not to mention when you attempt to watch a real network feed that is true HD, forget changing the channel. This little piece of junk locks up every time. Beware of this one! Some advise, invest in a real HD tuner, not this item.

I bought this device because I was tired of my ATI tuner cards poor performance and constant need of updates to work. The Pinnacle USB tuner worked as soon as I installed the software. This device works with Vista and can even pickup over a dozen HD stations with just the included antenna. It works with both the included software and windows media center however the remote only works with the pinnacle software. I am very happy with this device and recomend it highly. And yes it is Vista certified.
