Complete failure. Picked this unit up to replace my other one. Works for Vista but the connection is so limited. The range sucks!! It constantly over-heats and drops connections. Vista drivers work fine but like I said this is manufactuered poorly. Not the 1st time I’ve had problems with Netgear. Never again will I buy their products, they are made very cheaply. Replaced this with TRENDnet TEW-424UB USB Wireless Network Adapter for $24.99 and it works like an absolute dream. Once again, save your money and don’t go Netgear, this is the worst adaptor I have ever had to deal with. I recommend going TRENDnet or D-Link or Linksys for all wireless networking. Don’t trust other brands. TRENDnet gives a great bang for your buck $$ !! Netgear F-

Usually I don’t have a problem with refurbished items. This thing would continously lock up my system and I had to search the web for a fix, just to find out that many of the Netgear cards and wireless usb’s all have the same issues. Even with the so-called fix patch. I have a PCI and a USB Netgear card and they both are garbage. This USB version worked GREAT for like 2 weeks.
