This phone was intended for use in developing contries. All it does is make and receive calls, that’s why it costs between $40 and $80 and not $400 (which is typical for contractless unlocked phones). If you need a high resolution LCD (or OLED) screen, look elsewhere. This phone will show you the time and the phone number you are calling and not much else. Might be worth getting if you’re going hiking or other dangerouse activities and don’t want to risk damaging your good phone.

The Motorola F3 Unlocked GSM Cell Phone, may not have all the features many people want in a phone like a mp3 player, a camera, and Internet web surfing. This phone has all the functions I need in a phone, nothing more. This is why I highly recommend it to anyone that needs a good quality phone with great reception, without all the other distractions preinstalled on most phones of today. It is a cellphone that you should not have to worry about accidentally getting a scratch on it, unlike phones that cost hundreds of dollars. It is the best phone for the price, that does what a phone should do. It is simplicity at it’s finest. To bad there are not more like this around. I would recommend it to anybody for their first phone or even as a backup. I would give this phone five stars all across the board, but since some would not agree, because of it’s lack of features, I gave that section a three. A cellphone that is a cellphone without the BS, five stars and two thumbs up in my book.

The phone I received was cracked badly in the battery compartment and would turn off whenever I put any pressure on the back. More importantly, the phone was not unlocked as it should have been. Impossible to change the language from spanish to english because it was locked.

This is a GREAT phone, IF you understand what you are buying. This phone is ONLY capable of making/receiving calls and LIMITED text messaging (only 6 letters can be displayed at a time, limited non-alphanumeric symbols & no distiguishing between capital and lower case letters). Contrary to the description on this site, IT DOES NOT HAVE: A calculator, alerts, games, calendar, tasks, phonebook, contacts or organizer. It’s ONLY special features are SMS messaging and an alarm clock. It does however have the ability to use your SIM cards built-in phonebook, giving you JUST the ability to save names and numbers. It also DOES NOT have the ability to download ringtones as this site claims. It has just 6 ringtone to choose from. Overall: It does its job better than any cell phone on the market. No Frills, but perfect performance. Buy this phone ONLY if you like to keep it simple.
