What It Is & Why You Need It!
- The Mitsubishi experience is brought to life through timeless design, a pursuit for quality and commitment to innovation
- Mitsubishi’s Tru1080p™ Processing maintains 1080p high definition signals as 1080p from beginning to end.
- Mitsubishi’s exclusive 4D Video Noise Reduction uses advanced algorithms to better identify video noise from fine detail and correct the signal rather than distort it.
1080P DLP® Display
High Definition Television display powered by Texas Instruments’ latest 1080P DLP® chip. In combination with Mitsubishi exclusive light engines, over 2 million pixels of the highest high-def are delivered for the most detailed HD picture for a variety of today’s and tomorrow’s sources.
xvColor™
x.v.Color™ is the new standard in high definition color! The x.v.Color™ Wide Color Palette enables more color than ever before for breathtaking realism and vivid, natural colors. Maximize High Definition color performance.
Deep Color
Deep Color creates smooth transitions between different shades and eliminates color bands and complements x.v.Color™’s wide color pallet. Enabled by HDMI™ 1.3, Deep Color goes beyond previous 8-bit HDTV.
PerfectColor™
PerfectColor™ is an exclusive Mitsubishi feature that gives your customer the ability to adjust the intensity of six separate colors independently of each other and separately for every input. PerfectColor™ is a full color matrix, much more powerful than a conventional color intensity control with red versus green color balance.
Tru1080p™ Processing
Keep your signal the way it was meant to be seen. Mitsubishi’s Tru1080p™ Processing maintains 1080p high definition signals as 1080p from beginning to end. All 1080p DVI-I, HDMI™, IEEE 1394 and 1080p Broadcast signals are passed through with no down conversions. The advancements of 1080p DLP® technology for HDTV viewing deliver over 2 million pixels to you on-screen for a full and true 1920 x 1080 resolution. With Mitsubishi 1080p DLP® HDTVs, you can experience the best that high definition has to offer today and be ready to enjoy all of the 1080p sources that are on the horizon.
Plush1080p™
HDTVs can display any video signal. For a 1080p HDTV, even the high quality 720p and 1080i HDTV signals being broadcast need to be reformatted in order to fill the TV screen with a sharp, clear picture. Mitsubishi developed Plush1080p™ technology to do just this—with the highest quality possible. It scales the picture precisely, with minimal side effects. And 1080i, currently the most common form of HDTV signal, is spectacular at 1080p. The conversion is precise, resulting in previously unachievable detail and clarity. In short, Plush1080p™ technology makes everything else look better on a 1080p HDTV.
4D Video Noise Reduction
Mitsubishi’s exclusive 4D Video Noise Reduction uses advanced algorithms to better identify video noise from fine detail and correct the signal rather than distort it. Video noise is caused by distortions in the video signal and makes the picture too look grainy or snowy. As signal resolutions improve with the introduction of DVD, digital cable/ satellite and HDTV, the loss of sharpness produced by most noise reduction circuits becomes more noticeable. Mitsubishi’s advanced 4D Video Noise Reduction corrects the image in four dimensions: horizontally, vertically, within each frame and across multiple frames to provide an image that is crystal clear and extraordinarily detailed.
Video Modes: Brilliant / Bright / Natural / Game
Use the four picture video modes to adjust for optimum viewing in different room lighting and gaming applications. All modes are accessible via the VIDEO key on the remote control.
6-Color Processor
Mitsubishi’s 6-Color Processor produces brighter colors, a wider range of colors and whiter whites. The Home Theater TV element of our 735 Series puts the focus on our large-screen DLP® HDTVs. The result is an all-picture sensation that puts you in the middle of all the action. And with our 3D Ready feature, immersion in your entertainment is even more captivating. Watch from the sidelines as your favorite team makes a game-winning play or stand back as your favorite film invades your living room. Ask your sales associate for an in-store demonstration and discover why Mitsubishi is different.

Mitsubishi WD-60735 DLP HDTV User Reviews
REVIEW BY: Monty Detr Reviewed Oct 21, 2008
Just purchased this box 2 weeks ago. Was easy to setup. I got an HD BOX from my cable company and their signal is 1080. I purchased an HDMI cable and the picture is flawless on the HD Channels. Most of my friends could not believe the price. It’s not a wall mountable TV but it still does not take up room and you can get a nice tv stand from places IKEA to compliment the box. I was about to get an LCD 47inch for the same price but now I got 60inches with Free delivery within 3 days right to the front door. WOW Detroit,MI

This is incredible I have shopped all around and even talked to a few TV repair shops and they even have lots of good things to say about this TV. If you go looking and compare LCD and Plasma to this you should know the insider stuff most places that I have looked at these have the poorest signal they can send going to these so dont be fooled. Take a look at one that is hooked up to Blue Ray with a good cable and a new release movie and compare. Check the input buy asking for the remote and pushing the input button and make sure its a 1080p signal. There is nothing like it in LCD or Plasma. But if you need to hang it on a wall then go ahead and get one.

Had this set almost a month & can’t say anything bad about it. Great for watching baseball, football and wife says it’s great for movies too. Price was right and no shipping adds to the deal.

I have had this for about 3 weeks now. I love it. At first, all I had was digital cable hooked up to it. It was a real difference over the 32” I had. I finally got the HD hooked up and man let me say it is the best picture I have ever seen. I got an X-Box 360 and the 1080p resolution is flawless on it. I recommend this to any one.

Mitsubishi WD-60735 60-Inch 1080p DLP HDTV - Value for Money…my first DLP experience.

PRO’s:
The Price.
As compared to an LCD or Plasma TV, for the amount of *viewing* real estate at 60" the DLP at 1080P resolution is hard ot beat, price-wise.
Purchased for $1399 with 3 years interest free from CC. I noticed it lower to $1299 for cash.
An equivalent LCD or Plasma whould have cost me $2500.
This is my first experience with DLP and so far I have no regrets (knock-on-wood). The unit weight is light enough for the wife to help you set it up.
The resolution and color is easily configured to your liking and hooking up to DirectTV HD is a joy to watch that you can’t go back to standard definition.
Hooking up via HDMI is a breeze and it does auto sense. Remote Control is well designed and easy to navigate. I was able to program my Yamaha Receiver and DirectTV unit and just use one remote control.
CON’s:
It should have an option like my other TV’s to disconnect the TV audio so sound only eminates from my Home Theatre system.
Start-up is slower than CRT or LCD but not long enough to complain.
I would have chosen the 65" if it was not for my TV Niche being only large enough for the 60 " model. The Sale price difference was $100.
Makes you wonder how much it costs for the factory to build a unit?
Only time will tell if DLP was the right choice for me but so far no regrets. Viewing this TV is such a pleasure with HD that I would not have dreamed of experiencing this 10 years ago.
Well done Mitsubishi, a large, quality widescreen TV made affordably to the common man.
