Great Mouse!!! This thing tracks perfectly while using my bedsheets as a pad. Automatically turns on and off when you take out or return the USB receiver.Price dropped ten bucks since I got it, so it even more of a steal.

*value: great value @ $20 + ship after MIR *feat: everything except the zoom switch is decent. it’s a bit hard to use as the spring tension is too stiff and may grate on delicate fingers. it was not a big selling point regardless how it performed however *quality: it’s hard to say as i just bought it but if it’s anything like my MX1000, it will last a while. *performance: great. no lag while gaming. only time will tell how battery life is but i also have another wireless logitech and it lasts quite along time on 2 AA. the VX only requires 1 but i’m expecting similar lifespan.

I really like the Set Point software. The storage of the recieve is very neat. Needs a rechargable battery like the mx version though and a tiny reciever like the nano and this would be my ideal mouse. keep up the good work Logitech.
REVIEW BY: pvanderh Reviewed Apr 11, 2008
Though this is an amazing mouse and i love it for my desktop it is NOT Logitech notebook mouse! If you buy this expecting a small compact mouse you will be disappointed to find that Logitech has a ”Nano” version that they offer as a notebook mouse.

This mouse is awesome, frictionless scroll wheel is amazing. Definitely worth the money for anyone who wants a great mouse with a lot of features.
REVIEW BY: Mike28a Reviewed Feb 28, 2008
I bought this to replace the mediocre mouse that ships with iMacs. Most of the features are good, although the feel of the wheel is a little sloppy, probably due to the horizontal scroll feature. The wheel scroll is iffy, even after adjusting it to fastest possible speed; in a word document it flies too fast, on a web page, too slow. Overall very nice though. Hope the battery lasts!

Everything is the best quality I’ve ever seen. The only complaint I have is that the Zoom feature sucks, its very hard to move. I personally don’t use the zoom feature. When I first got it out I thought it was pretty weird and had thoughts of a return. Then after 30 minutes and even now, a day later it is the best mouse I have EVER owned! This just screams quality from the super precise laser tracking to its frictionless scroll wheel (which is fun), to the feel of its buttons, even the transparent battery indicator!!! AWESOME!!!!! You will get used to its smaller size and call it better than a bulky normal one, I use this for a desktop and it is perfect once you get used to it!! Great Price!

Everything is very good EXCEPT the zoom button is hard to move (it gave my finger hurt sometimes). So I rate the quality a lil low.

Purchased this mouse as a replacement for the optical that came with my S510 wireless keyboard/mouse combo. Didn’t like the feel of the included mouse, and this Revolution mouse is very comfortable in comparison. Wheel is good quality and I like the adjustable scroll feature. I also feel the tracking is better (I’ve never had a laser mouse before). For those unsure about the size because it’s stated as a ”notebook” mouse, it isn’t a tiny little mouse. Great product made even better by the price Tiger is offering right now.

I have owned this mouse for about six months, it has performed just like they advertised. Some people say they have problems using it with a wireless laptop, but it works fine with my Toshiba when it is hooked up wireless.

I have one of these mice & I use it on several notebooks that all have wifi on several different networks, with a variety of wireless hardware. Never has the mouse caused any connectivity problems, no interference at all. Perhaps ”boge” should try changing the channel his wireless router is broadcasting on. Or something else is causing the interference. This is the best mouse Ive ever owned, very precise, comortable, and easy to configure. The internal slot for usb transmitter storage is a great feature as well.

Great mouse if not used with a wireless notebook. Wireless interferes with the mouse’s wireless operation. It only works with a wireless notebook if you have a long enough arm.

The best mouse I’ve ever had. Comfortable, long battery life and great features. Not one complaint. A great deal at $30 with the rebate. I’ve recommended it to several people. Fast scroll and left right scroll with the thumb buttons makes this the most convenient mouse I’ve ever used. Hats off to Logitech on this one.

my biggest concern with buying this mouse was its durability. im a college student and i have to take this mouse around quite often and sometimes it just ends up being thrown in my bookbag. i had heard reviews of this mouse being broken from small falls and whatnot but so far my has held up great and have not had any problems. would highly recommend.
REVIEW BY: legendmake Reviewed Sep 28, 2007
I love the mouse. I use it as often as I can and often swap it out with my desktop one if I get on it. Good price after rebate, but logitech denied my rebate. They claimed that My receipt was dated after the product sale, but i printed it the day that I bought it. I followed all the instructions carefully, and doubled over my work, but They took 2 months to tell me that they were going to deny my rebate and they didn’t even bother to give me any links to a place that I could ask someone about it. If I had known that I would be buying a mouse for $45, then I probably wouldn’t have bought it. I would give it about a $30 dollar value, and less than that is a pretty good deal, but not $45.

I have had the same problem as the previous reviewer with the buttons. I have figured out that the mouse ‘’sleeps” when it is not moving to get better battery life (which is superb I must say) If I do a single click of the left mouse while it is in the sleep mode then that click wakes it up and I have to click it again to send the radio signal. I have gotten around this by waking the mouse first with a wiggle and then clicking, it has seemed to cure the problem for me. I use the mouse to run my HTPC so it does sit Idle alot and I noticed the button problem when trying to exit full screen with a double click. If I do a triple click from sleep mode then it acts like a double click. Overall I love this mouse, Hurry and get em while they are hot.

Great feeling mouse in your hand. Have had lots of trouble with the left click button. Logitech fell short here. I ordered a second one, thinking my first was just bad. Second one doing the exact same thing. Not always engaging, when clicked. And such a beautiful design.

This is the best mouse I’ve used. I also used the nice Apple mouse with the ball. The ball makes rolling left and right work great, and if the Logitech had a fault it is not so easy to program a left and right that works like Apples. But, this free spinning wheel is THE BEST thing I’ve used. It goes as slow or fast as you want and is very accurate. The batteries seem to last forever without needing a charging base, excellent. This is named the notebook mouse, and it is a great size for my hand. Also the laser works great, does not need to be flat to the table to track accurately. Better than ball or optical for sure.

It’s pretty amazing: I’ve had this mouse for work… now it’s been 3 months and it’s still going on the single AA battery. Maybe it’s the smart feature where the dongle insertion and removal turns the mouse off-and-on, but it’s both light and accurate, and I still haven’t found a mouse that fits my smaller hand better. Every-so-often it does seem to crash my machine on wake-from-sleep, but I think it might have to do with which USB plug I use. Definitely worth the small inconvenience… too bad the price is so great now, but feel like it was worth paying the $54!

REVIEW BY: willpq Reviewed Jul 20, 2007
This Logitech wireless mouse is not their best battery miser. The actual single AA battery life was about 2 months max for 2 hours of use per day at home and using mouse power switch to shut off when not in use. My previous wireless non-optical Logitech mouse used two AAA batteries that I replaced once a year with about 5 hours of use per day at work and had no need for a separate mouse power switch. Zoom buttons are good feature to have but poorly implemented with poor quality slide switch. All other switches are smooth momentary contact switches. Power switch on bottom of mouse is one of Logitech’s better ideas compared other wireless Logitech mice and is responsible for extended battery life. Software could be improved with more options for the programmable buttons. The scroll wheel is the best out there. This VX design is better than the MX version. I was so impressed with it that I bought two of these mice. Recommend you use both the 50% rebate and the $20 rebate.

Excellent mice. I don’t care about extra features it has, side scrolling, zoom, etc. I just wanted some quality mouse and this is very close to that. It feels great, the wheel is great, is working in linux as well (no extra features, of course). The reason for why I don’t give it 5 stars is that middle click really sucks. I use middle click a lot in linux and the big wheel is terrible when it comes down to that. I own a razer Copperhead and that is an excellent mouse. Pretty bad they don’t have a wireless version. However, this IS a good mice and I doubt you’ll ever get closer to this quality for a similar price.

This is the second* best mouse I own (*I also own the mx1000 laser for my desktop) It is perfect in ALL aspects. Its small, comfortable, responsive, stylish and feels well made. Most importantly to me, its not so tiny that I need to use it with tweezers, but it is CONVEINETLY small. I even use it for playing games, I wouldnt consider myself a diehard gamer but ocasionally I play, and I have heard others say that they wouldnt use it, well in my experience it is great for gaming its not the very BEST mouse (I think the MX-1000 is) butthen again laptops arnt the best computers for gaming either. I recomend this mouse to anyone who is interested enough to read the product reviews, it IS the best in its class.

Awesome. Long battery life. USB dongle stores inside the mouse and turns the mouse on/off when removed/inserted. Scroll wheel is extremely fast on spreadsheets. Can scroll through 6000 Excel lines with 1 roll in free wheel mode. Cons: Seems to need to be within a few feet of dongle or is a little flakey. In free wheel mode, hard to keep scroll at top of page - wants to scroll down a few lines.
