Absolutely amazing! I hooked this thing up to my computer and turned on HL2 EP2, and it was AWESOME!!! I took it back out to the living room and hooked the Wii up to it and it’s PERFECT. The sound quality is very good. I haven’t yet played any movies on it. It can literally be viewed at the most extreme angles and the picture still represents itself exactly the same! I bought it at $1,099. First purchase on Tiger, and I know I’ll keep a better eye out for the deals and prices Tiger has to offer.

HDTV arrived yesterday. Set up was a breeze. Incredible picture, Super Black for black. Havent used all the bells and whistles that the unit is capable yet. I’d purchase again. The free shipping was the icing on the cake.

Absolutely superb HDTV: has exceeded my expectations,and they were high. After extensive side-by-side store comparisons, and my location and connectivity needs, I knew I wanted a 42” 1080p HDTV with high contrast ratio, both HDMI and component connectivity for DVD and VCR to take full advantage of the 1080p resolution, and USB and RGB ports for computer connectivity. Missed out on your earlier offer, but when it appear again at $1099 including shipping, I purchased immediately. It shipped the same day by truck and I was able to track it the whole way and had it in exactly one week. Even received a call to confirm exact delivery time. Quickly had it up and running, all stations programmed in, and all peripherals connected. No picture tuning was necessary, sound is excellent, and setup and use is easy and intuitive. Picture is absolutely superb. Only one negative: I would wish that beautiful frame mirror finish were matte, to avoid daytime glare.

I went through 3 LG 1080p LCDs, all had to be returned because of dark areas in the corners. If you don’t care about quality, then yes this is a good deal. If you DO care, then get a Samsung or a Sony 720p LCD. LG makes good phones, not TVs.
