So far so good. No dead pixels. I was sold by the three DVI inputs (other 30” LCDs only have one). I’m not terribly concerned by the lack of on-screen features. You’ll get the 2560*1600 resolution with a video card that supports dual-link DVI. You can still use it with an older video card, but you’ll get 1280*800. Most PCI-E cards support dual-link, while only a few AGP ones do. The only advice I can give is when researching video cards, read up on their specs and see if they support 2560*1600.

I can find no flaws whatsoever. This monitor is the best I’ve ever owned. Very accurate color. Easy to tilt, swivel, and raise/lower. No dead pixels. Absolutely perfect! The 3 inputs are very convenient too. All you need is a cheap USB switch instead of an expensive KVM if you have multiple computers. For software development and image editing, this monitor makes the workflow a lot smoother! You can see a lot of source-code or code + images + web pages all at the same time. This monitor is a big step up from dual 22” monitors. Tiger also has the best price I’ve found (so far). I am seriously considering buying another to do the dual-monitor thing (though one has ample real-estate for most tasks .. but more is definitely better! (I often have help pages, reference material, etc., open while I work … less swapping definitely makes the workflow smoother!))
