The Hitachi P50V701 is the first HDTV from Hitachi to include the revolutionary new film processing known as Reel60™. With Full HD1080 products this HDTV is a perfect pixel-for-pixel match to the dominant high definition signal in the marketplace today. The P50V701 50″ Plasma utilizes the Full HD1080 resolution standard (1920 x 1080) and has extremely sharp detail with over 2.1 million individual picture elements. Hitachi patented ClearWindow technology incorporates a high aperature pixel structure with less grid structure for a extrodinarily lifelike picture.

This TV rocks! I don’t know how they do it. A 50” Plasma 1080p HDTV at this price? The picture is great! The sound is great! It’s easy to use! It has a power swivel stand operated from the remote! Lots of inputs and outputs! Built in ATSC, etc, etc. YOU CAN’T GO WRONG!

Hitachi TVs are relatively unknown but after having a 60” rear projection Hitachi for 10 years that was trouble-free, I decided to purchase their new 50” Plasma model. The quality of this product is very high with a terrific picture and includes Hitachi’s normal array of features and automatic compensations and controls to insure an optimized picture at all times. At this price it is a deal that’s hard to beat.

This TV rocks! Easily one of the best plasmas out there for the money! Full-featured, full HD, sleek looks, and it has a power swivel! Can’t beat it!

I checked many other large flatpanel tv’s. This one has the best value per dollar that I could find. Thanks Tiger Direct… Especially when I could go to your CompUSA store and see the item before I bought. The available aspect ratios give the user complete control over how they fill the screen!

Just Got my 1st Plasma TV and This one Is AWSOME!! It even takes the old black and white movies I watch on TMC and make them like HD. The Color is fantastic, its like you could walk right into the TV at times. The surround sound feature is not fantastic but is good I plan on getting more speakers with a TV like this you just have to. If your buying a new Plasma This is diffinitely the one to buy!!!! Thanks Hitachi!
