Pros: Solid built, runs ok on Vista. Runs fantastic on XP. Cons: No XP driver support whatsoever from Gateway (Microsoft ACPI-compliant Embedded Controller missing 3 drivers and still searching). Runs uncomfortably hot on Vista to the point you must get a cooler pad and eventually run XP.

i bought this laptop couple of weeks ago and had to return it back.shipping was excellent.i had two problems in all with it.the wireless was bad(lost connection and unble to detect wireless until restart is done) and the second problem was da CD drive.it was defected and windows can not detect a CD whenever i insert one.i wouldnt recommend this laptop coz of other reviews i have read online on ther site.to be honest everfything else was ok with da laptop.

Most people hate to use Windows Vista program. I have used it for a 3 weeks now. No issues. This laptop is working great, very fast and a lot of hard disk, the webcam is great. I have bought more than 6 laptops for my family, so far all have been working great….
