THIS LAPTOP IS AWESOME!! although i just bought mine recently, it is a great laptop for a great price. It have great performance and its so silent while your on it. Amazing design and attitude to it. High performance and very well built. Webcam and other accessories (including Wi-Fi) work perfectly. Gateway did an amazing job when they constructed this laptop model!

Bought one yesterday and the CPU fan was dead so the unit wouldn’t boot. I’m going to take it back to TigerDirect and if they swap it out for a new unit, I’ll take it or I may just ask to go with a Lenovo with lesser specs. From all the reviews here, I’m thinking the quality of this unit is sub-par.

I bought one for my daughter and everything worked fine (no issues with WiFi). She loved the look (especially because it is a glossy red). I didn’t like the fact that it had no lid clasp - seemed pretty strange design. Unfortunately, less than 2 weeks after it arrived, the unit shut down and would not power up. Don’t know if it overheated but took it back within the 30 day window to get our refund. Costco.com has a brand new one with pretty much the same specs for $100 more and Costo gives you 2 years warranty.

We have used the laptop daily since opening the box. Not a glitch as of yet.We received the message about the wifi problem but this one is ok—so far. Nice looking and performing laptop.

My computer was DEAD on arrival. I called Gateway and was surprised by their poorly trained customer service. The guy kept asking me to provide a S/N that started with a T…But for a refurbished model, they start with R…The guy somehow expected me to know that, and he was belligerent. Their return/exchange policy was disappointing too. I assumed they’d ship another one out to me immediately since it was dead on arrival, but no. You have to ship it back, and WAIT to see if they could fix it. Anyways, I shipped it back to TigerDirect and am awaiting their decision to either refund or exchange it. I wish I hadn’t wasted my time with this product and was disappointed with Gateways customer service.
