REVIEW BY: dudeboy Reviewed  Apr 12, 2008

I have had a GT5464 since last Sept. This is a good price, much less then what I paid elsewhere. It is a good basic desktop, especially for this price. (Unless you plan to build your own.) You’ll probably never use the ”portable media bay” unless you pay a premium for a Gateway portable drive. For me it’s a waste. I took a chance and put 2 2GB modules in mine. It was great for a couple days, then started wigging out by restarting randomly. When they say 2GB maximum for memory, they mean it. Cross your fingers and hope you never need Gateway support, you’d be better off talking to your answering machine. If you upgrade to Ultimate, the motherboard has no TPM. No big deal for most of us.
