I have to agree with the previous post. Nuff said on that lol. The biggest point being is that Gateway has the best support bar none. I have used their customer support online many times. Upgrading/updating drivers etc. is a breeze through their site and idiot proof. Unfortunately when I bought another computer I got an Acer. What a mistake I made. I should of bought another Gateway. I would rather pour jet fuel on my head, light it on fire and beat it out with a 10lb sledgehammer than buy another Acer. I have to buy another computer and it will be a Gateway. Just for the record I have an older Gateway E-600 I bought back in 2001. It still runs perfect and runs todays applications and most games like World of Warcraft. The frame rate is a bit slow but the game runs fine. I recently put in more memory in it and got a bigger hard drive. When I had questions about my older Gateway they (Gateway) still helped me out! The Reviewer below didn’t take in count of that it is an Intel Core 2 Extreme, after building by hand on this website it was a total of $2,379.87 with rebates in the price, not $ 1,500.00 yes that is still less than the price of the pc but you have to figure somebody installing everything and making sure everything works. Less of a headache for the consumer I build PCs for a living and I tell you just because the parts new doesnt mean there are no DOA, and they also offer a warranty for the whole bundle not just piece by piece. Sorry to correct you but the people should know.
