Simply touch the sunlight-readable color screen to enter a destination, and nüvi takes you there with 2D or 3D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions. It even announces the name of exits and streets so you never have to take your eyes off the road. I purchased this unit new just after Christmas. I received it about a week later. I worked fine for 1 week and the on/off button stopped working. I called Garmin repair and was told to return it to them for a new one. I received it about three weeks later. The new one would not stay on. It would power off every 2-3 miles. Again I called Garmin repair and was told to return the unit to them. I just received a NEWLY OVERHAULED unit. I have used it for all of two weeks in the last two months. I have not tried the OVERHAULED unit yet. I am unhappy as I purchased a NEW Garmin not an OVERHAULED Garmin. I would not recommend any Garmin unit. I didn’t spend $600+ to receive a reconditioned unit.

This is a very nice unit, similar in many respects to the nuvi 360 but with the wider. Personally I like the smaller, less bulky 3.5 form factor, but the 4.5 form factor is very nice. Minus 1 star on FEATURES since I cannot get the MSN to work. I am probably out of range where I live. I get spotty coverage with TMC traffic on the Navigon 2100 where I live too, but I do get traffic with it. The one thing I personally don’t particularly like is the way the traffic antenna connects to the back of the unit instead of the USB port, like the Navigon but you might not care about that, so no dings for that. Lots of cool features, great Garmin quality.

It gives me all of what I was expecting but with the high price I am always worried someone is going to steal it, even with the access code.
