Great little GPS. I took Gerta (thats the name I gave the Garmin)on a trip through the USA last month & it did not fail me once. Great GPS for the money. I would recommend the unit with the ”Naming streets” option on it, that was the only downfall. Garmin makes a great GPS.

I received a 250 for Christmas. Great little unit, easy to understand. It is a ”entry level” product, but does exactly what it says it will do well. Consumer Reports gives this a ”best buy” rating. The only problem I have had with it is that it seems to want to keep me on the 401 collectors across the top of Toronto, rather than letting me take the Express. If I was going to purchase for myself, I would probably spend a little more money to get a unit with the traffic updates via radio. Works well with a Macintosh running Leopard.

Great GPS at a great price ($269) on TigerDirect.com. Didn’t want bluetooth or other unnecessary upgrades of the more expensive units. This unit performs very well although I found some roads were out of date. Easily updated on Garmin.com and a friendly, easy to use interface. Definately a recommended buy!

Great GPS!!! Also in response to the last reviewer OF COURSE YOU CAN’T USE IT INDOORS!!! It needs this little thing called a satellite to guide it!!!

GREAT product. Does everything you neeed — bluetooth is totally unnecessary for a GPS product like this — and has only led me astray a couple times. Takes away almost all the stress of navigating around a new city. Highly recommended…
