Navigate With Ease
nüvi 200 comes preloaded with City Navigator® NT map data for the continental U.S., Hawaii and Puerto Rico (no Alaska or Canada detail) or one European region or country. Simply touch the color sunlight-readable screen to enter a destination, and nüvi takes you there with 2D or 3D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions. In addition, nüvi 200 accepts custom points of interest (POIs) such as school zones and safety cameras and lets you set proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs.

I like the ease of using this GPS I have had other GPS unites and this one dose a great job and will get you where you want to go.

Had this unit for about 2 weeks. For the money you can’t beat this one. If you are looking for a GPS that will interface to your phone or play MP3s this is not the one for you but if you just want a good basic GPS at a great price, this is it. Nice, bright, color display (had to turn down to 50%.) Good volume and clear speech. Wish it had tracks (bread crumb trail) but even a lot of the higher models don’t have that. Very easy to use menus.

OK unit but be prepared to spend upwards of $100 for upgrading to Canadian City maps. Better go for the 250 instead if you want Canadian cities.

I got the refurb and was very frustrated. It kept losing the satellites and not acquiring them. I called Garmin and they took it right back and stood willing to make a direct exchange. There is a one year warranty that goes well beyond the TigerDirect / GlobalComputer exchange policy. Garmin was very generous in offering UPS overnight bothways. I don’t have a UPS store nearby, so I couldn’t send it overnight, but I do expect it back overnight. Thank you Garmin, I love my little Nuvi.

this is a good unit for the money and value and the response time as your driving is great the unit you can see on the display as your turn into a curve its pretty cool and accurate i find this a easy unit to work with.
