For a first build this was an easy to set-up combination. I picked this up along with 2 evga 8800gt’s, vista64 ultimate, masscool cpu fan, ocz sli ready memory and psu. All i have to say is wow, i had a little trouble with the hard drive i picked up. Bios would see it but vista couldn’t. It was a seagate sata 7200.10. I had an older computer with a seagate sata 7200.08 so i tried it, worked perfect. I tried the 7200.10 in the older computer and tried to put XP on it, worked just fine. Might be an issue with that drive and vista, not sure. Using an Antec 900 case, everything fit just fine and it keeps all components at 100F or lower. The drivers i recieved with my MoBo and Vid cards would NOT work. But after i was up and running i simply downloaded them from the EVGA website. Windows scores this cpu at 5.9 and i am not over clocking anything. Awesome combination, very impressed.
