This is a great lightweight machine. When I say lightweight, I mean literally, and feature wise. That’s okay, though, you know what you are getting and for the price, this thing is freakin’ sweet! The OS is ”Zonbu”. This is a very Windo-fied KDE over Gentoo Linux. My wife was on this thing surfing the web, emailing, making documents, and IMing her friends for a week before she knew she wasn’t on Windows! This is not a game laptop, but it is a power-house for the price. Every USB device I put in it loads. It has to have Somba as the entire Windows network shows up in the ”Neighborhood” window, and I can even print to a shared printer. Did I mention it plays DVD’s and burns CD’s? There are a few quirks. To get the best wireless performance you have to disable ethernet, for example. Load time is a little long, but that is a restriction of the CPU being a VIA. I will say 40% longer boot time than Vista 64 on my desktop. Once it loads though, it delivers very comendable service
