This phone is an all in one stop. I rate it better than than the iphone. I have had every blackberry since they first arrived on the scene and this is by far my favorite. It has a full key board, ring tones, speakerphone, email, BBM, the only thing it does lack is a camera…but honestly how many people really use the cameras on their phone…Take a picture on a camera and send it to your blackberry
Good Luck with your shoppin.

The voice quality is far better than with my 8700G. The build quality is less than the 8700G because this is easier to break when dropped. I dropped my 8700g countless times and it still works very well. I would not risk dropping the 8800. The unit also scratches easily. The speed is unimpressive and I would wait for true 3G unit debut before purchasing another Blackberry. Why no camera? What is RIM thinking? The mouse trackball makes it easy to scroll past your desired icon and is too small for large hands. It becomes loose with time and falls out of the unit. I firmly feel Blackberry tried to make a leap of faith with this unit before fully testing it. Palm was too far ahead and it seems like RIM had to release anything to maintain market share. The result is a product that is not ready for prime time. The next version after the 8800 should be a little better as with most RIM products. Wait, do not purchase this until RIM makes the necessary changes.
