This is the worst machine I have ever owned!!! JUNK, JUNK, JUNK,JUNK!!!! Sent it to Acer and they tried to fix it, now it’s not working again, I haven’t even used it long enough to set it up. Now it’s out of the return period so I can’t even get my money back…..I GOT SCREWED!!! Don’t let it happen to you…..

Overall I feel that this computer is good value and I am pleased with system. Many of the complaints or difficulties I had/still have had to do with the Vista OS and not the components of the machine. First off, no manuals or inventory check is astonishing given that this computer is a ”power” PC. Lucky I had an idea as to what the components did. Wireless mouse and keyboard are ok. I had some problems getting it to work but figured it out. The speakers are very poor quality. Digital out has been great for my sound to HT reciever (although Vista’s sound drivers suck). I have not tried HDMI yet but I do anticipate problems. Blue-ray renders great! Windows home media controller works but is tempermental and sometimes needs to be re-inserted back into USB to work. So overall I am pleased with the purchase and components. Disappointed with lack of support via manuals and the fact that the Vista OS does not allow for much creativity and is to constricting for some of my PC needs.

We have had this machine a couple of weeks. Setup was not the easiest, no setup documentation included, no driver disc included. Windows Vista OS not worth having. Have tried to add webcam numerous times. No webcam so far, not even after downloading updated driver. For the price paid, you would think Acer would at least include driver software. So far, Blu Ray works okay, but have only used once. Never could get wireless feature to work. This is fifth desktop, thought about going Mac, wish that I had. The extra cost would have been worth it. Disappointed to say the least. If there had been more reviews at time of purchase, would have gone Apple.

thsi is a great buy, very fast, however know some facts like the HDMI output is useless as equipped see the little pic of the back that show the HDMI & second VGA port they say ”not used” so if you want HDMI buy the DVI to HDMI converter, also have trouble hooking up digital audio using the supplied fiber optic port or coaxal port
