Fantastic monitor for the price. Outstanding color/contrast. Works well for gaming. Sure, there are better monitors out there… but be prepared to cough up at least an extra $100.00 for them.

This my first flat LCD monitor and I got to tell you is awesome colors are more vivid that my old 19” CRT monitor. just started saving to get another and set then as a dual monitor.

This was our first monitor and was real hesitant about this purchase. We’ve being up and running now for three weeks and I have to say that I am very pleased. The only thing I wish that this monitor had was speakers. The picture quality is awesome and it makes my sister-in-laws jealous!

Wow! What an awesome monitor! Works great with my new ATI graphics card. Color and brightness are sweet! I’ve yet to have problems with anything I’ve purchased from Tiger!

My work requires, at least 5 windows open at all times, and before acquiring this monitor, I had to toggle between windows that I couldn’t have open on screen simultaneously… Now, I don’t toggle at all, just point and click on the window. This is a great monitor for the money. I have it hooked up through the DVI interface, and couldn’t be more pleased, especially, without any dead pixels. I would, without hesitation, purchase another one, and just may, to upgrade another system’s monitor. Resolution settings are at max level and the picture is crystal clear and sharp. A great monitor for the money, well worth every penny.

If you have the money - DO IT! You will not be sorry. No problems. When I adjusted the color - Fantastic. I use NVIDA, just follow the instructions in the setup software carefully, even if they dont make sense to you at the time. I LOVE this Monitor. I will never go back to the small square! This monitor realy makes the system. Games you ask…..

Great! Replaced an old crappy 19 in CRT that was all messed up because of having a subwoofer next to it! Great widescreen display for gaming and or personal usage..would consider getting another for the same price I payed!

If you’re debating between a 19 and 20 inch monitor, go for 20. The resolution bump is definitely worth the extra few dollars… After two days my first monitor developed a buzzing noise in the upper left corner, as if something hadn’t been screwed down properly. Tiger allowed me to exchange it for a new one with no problems, and even paid for return shipping. Excellent customer care!… One thing to keep in mind if you have to return the monitor: Once you snap the base into the stand there is no way of getting it undone. The only way to return everything (which Tiger required for a clean exchange) is to unscrew the base and stand from the monitor and ship it back in a separate box. A small, but annoying design flaw… Given my experience with the first bum monitor, it’s best to keep the box around for a few weeks to make sure nothing goes wrong… Thanks again Tiger for wonderful service and a great price on what has turned out to become a really nice product.

ACER has horrible customer service. Had to send monitor back for vibrating sounds/issues and they won’t/can’t fix. You must pay for shipping each and every time until they fix it. Please read through warranty info before you purchase any ACER product.

I’ve had this monitor for about 6 months now and it has performed flawlessly. The screen isn’t shiny (which is a good thing) and is a nice size for desk top use. Had no dead pixels and was set way to bright from the factory. Looks great with the native resolution and dvi connection. It doesn’t have speakers or height adjustments but I knew that before I bought it. Hard to beat a nice 20” wide screen monitor at this price.

I replaced a 10 year old 21” CRT monitor with this one. What a difference! Set up was easy, no dead pixels, worked right out of the box. Initial ‘whiteout’ concerned me but finally figured out how to cut the brightness in half. Would like to have seen a useful owner’s manual but you can’t get one of them for anything any more. Now I can see what I’ve been missing. Beat Wally World’s price by $15 including s&h.

Ordered this monitor for my wife to replace her 17” monitor that we bought in 2001 (yes, 2001). The Acer has a nice bright screen and enough controls to get the look just as she likes it. I did have to upgrade her video card and drivers to support the 1680×1050 resolution required. Only bummer is that Tiger now offers (a weeks after I bought the 20”) the 22” for $179 after $50 rebate - hence the 4 instead of 5 on the value. :o\

Wow! I expected to have a dead pixel or two, but I didn’t have a single one. The monitor is beautiful and I couldn’t be more pleased. I just now upgraded to LCD (my 6 year old CRT just didn’t have it anymore). I priced this exact monitor in several stores around the area and this price is an average $65.00 cheaper (including shipping costs). Wonderful deal, wonderful product.

I have one like this with a different model number I just bought from Tiger 2 weeks ago. I’m not sure of the difference, all the specs seem the same. This is a great monitor. I have it teamed with another, smaller Acer 19” widescreen for work and I love them both! No problems, no dead pixels in either. I may buy this one to team with my 22” Westinghouse at home. Acer makes very good monitors IMHO

Despite claims, this monitor is not actually Mac compatible through the VGA input. My monitor also arrived with a dead pixel in the middle of the screen. ACER informed me that at least 4 pixels would have to be dead to warrant replacement. This was the first and last ACER product I will ever purchase. Save your money, but a monitor from a company worth dealing with.
