What a killer monitor! Picture looks great, no dead pixels.. I’ve had it up and running for about 2 weeks now, no complaints here. This is the best bang for the the buck on tiger!

Yea dont buy this monitor. I got a blank screen whenever booting up and when loading up a game. And no it isnt my computer cause whenever I hooked up a different monitor to it, it worked. Besides those problems its picture was great and games looked awesome on it. But i returned it anyway.

Please reconsider purchasing this: Though the monitor provides a crisp image, after two weeks of use the screen flickers showing horizontal lines across the whole screen. This would last between 5minutes to up to an hour. Acer claimed that it needed to be serviced and that *I* would have to pay to ship it to them for a fee of around $30 and they’d fix it free of charge. I of course refused and am having TigerDirect send a replacement for free. I am thoroughly displeased at the unprofessional actions Acer is taking in this matter. This monitor was purchased along with 3 identical ones for my coworkers. One of them has this *same* issue as well. Though I may have a bad product, looking that half of my overall order is broken, it has further discouraged me to purchase another Acer product.

Right out of the box, turning on the unit it had one bad pixel. Less than two hours later it developed over a dozen bad pixels. Had to spend an additional $32.50 to ship it to Acer to be repaired. Tigerdirect’s support only said, ”You need to contact Acer” and was of no further help. Don’t buy it. You get what you pay for.

We’ve bought 9 of these monitors for our office in the past several months. 6 of the 9 have exhibited the periodic ”no signal” warning in the middle of the screen, even though the monitor continues to operate. Acer claims to have never heard of this issue (despite it being widely reported by other users). 4 of the 9 have failed so far. Acer has repaired them under warranty, but a failure rate of nearly 50% in only a few months is enough for me. I’ll never buy another one. We’ve switched to Samsung.

Seems like a good deal until it fails, and it will. I jumped in with both feet and bought two of these 90 days ago. Both of them have failed. You have to pay shipping to get it repaired at $50. The first one failed at 60 days. It took 1 wk to ship it to them ($50 Fedex ground), 1.5 weeks to repair and about a week for it to come back. So that’s almost a month without my first monitor. Now the second one is en-route to the repair depot. I talked to their second level support asking for shipping to them to be covered since they are obviously having problems. They will not bend on paying for shipping. Leading up to the failure the monitor becomes difficult coming out of sleep. Next if I had let the monitor go to sleep I had to unplug the power to get it to come out of sleep. Finally nothing could get it out of sleep. IF YOU HAVE THIS MONITOR - DON’T LET IT GO TO SLEEP!! I will never buy ACER again.

I have had my 24” Acer for some time now and it operates flawless. I do not have any reservations about the monitor and use it for video editing and online gaming. If you need the space this is an excellent monitor for the cost.

As usual received shipment in a timely manner, product is incredible. Good value, good display. Use it for high end graphics, cad and is a pleasure for my eyes. I imagine the gamers would be ok with it as well.

Great LCD if you didnt get any dead pixels on arrival. I had to pay to send it back, twice. They dont cover shipping costs on LCD’s. Appearntly the people at Acer dont know how to repair 2 dead pixels. Great Customer Service (Add swearing and scarcasm here). Never buying an Acer product again for as long as i live.

I bought it online about a year ago for the great features. The display worked great for several months in my apartment. Recently, the display gave a loud pop while I was using it, and smoke came out the back right side. I quickly pulled the power and disconnected it from my computer. The display has not worked since not even the menu work. I took a look inside but did not see any burnt components. The green light still lights up when I give it power, but not even the diaplay’s menu will come up. I am going to take it to a local repair show to see if they can fix it without costing too much. Otherwise, I’ll junk it and never buy acer again. It could have burn my house down if I was not there to unplug it.

I just received the Acer monitor and it is outstanding. Has a very nice look about it and the color is great. I would highly recommend it when considering a LCD. Arrived in only 2 days. All I had to do is plug it in and turn it on. Excellent quality pictrue.

Received fast and no pixel problems. Got this for my new Windows Vista system. Display is crisp, clean, sharp, and shows up S.T.A.L.K.E.R. great. This display is the best I have seen. It’s perfect for gaming. It’s so good I purchased the 22 inch model for my Win XP system and retired the 64 pound HP CRT display. ACER is tops.

I bbought this to hook my ps3 directly into its hdcp dvi port and the games look amazing. I set the monitor to its highest resolution and watched regular dvds and they looked so amazing they looked like hd quality movies. Also 24” looks alot bigger in person than i thought this takes up my whole dest. no speakers but they usually suck on computer monitors anyway. A must buy recommend to alk

My kids got together and surprised me with this monitor for my birthday at the beginning of July. WOW was I surprised! This monitor is spectacular. We have another 24” monitor that has a few more bells & whistles, but we never use any of them, like additional USB ports. I still have three unused USB ports on my pc. I would reccomend this baby highly. I hooked up the DVI input to my cable box and the VGA input to my pc and the quality of the picture is so good I usually watch cable through my monitor instead of my Sony Trinitron 32” TV. this monitor is better than my 52” RCA HD TV, which will only go to 1080i, but the monitor will reproduce 1080p. My wife, even said that it looked like you could reach right into the monitor and touch the images By using a splitter box I also ran my cable service through an HD TV card in the pc so that I can watch TV and work on the PC at the same time. This unit cost about $250 less than our other 24” monitor and there is no difference.
